Dr. Rahul Shah Principal Dentist
I absolutely love what I do and you will most definitely see that come through when you’re in the chair with me! I have a tremendous appreciation for dentistry as it lets me combine technical ability, spatial awareness and patient contact which is why it has been a perfect fit for me. Moreover, it gives me a chance to change lives and bring people back to their best, healthy selves. I see dentistry as a medium to showcase my passion and I am proud to be sharing this passion with you, your family and friends! My goal as a dentist is to always provide exceptional patient-focused care so that their mouth stays healthy not only today, but for years to come.
I completed my Doctor of Dental Surgery and graduated with distinction and multiple awards from the University of Western Ontario on the Dean’s Honor List. Post graduation, I was selected to complete a multi-disciplinary hospital residency at the prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital through the University of Toronto. This intensive residency provided me with training in all the specialties of dentistry including oral surgery, facial/TMJ pain, treatment of medically complex patients as well as the care for people with disabilities. Soon after, I was lucky to have a chance to go back to my alma mater, Western University as an Associate Clinical Professor to teach students in the undergraduate clinic. As of early 2024, I took over and became the proud owner of the newly built and rebranded “Dentistry at The Kingsway” and my primary focus at the practice lies in the placement of Implants, aesthetic and conservative dentistry, performing smile makeovers, wisdom teeth surgery and complex root canal therapy.
am passionate about giving back to the community, at home and abroad and I look forward to your care! In my spare time, I love traveling with my best friend/wife Pearl, trying out new cuisines and currently I remain exceptionally busy with my oldest Kiyan, and changing diapers for my little one, Jayan!
Dr. Janine Koutsaris Associate Dentist
When I was six, I asked Santa for a Dentist Barbie, telling my mom that it was who I wanted to be “when I grew up.” Fast forward to today, I could not be happier to be working with The Dentistry at The Kingsway in my home city of Toronto.
I obtained my Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at University College Cork in Ireland where I gained experience working in a hospital setting and providing dental care to the community. After graduating, I returned back home to Toronto and have been working in private practice ever since.
I view dentistry as an art that allows me to find creativity and calmness in my work, which I extend to my patients. I strive to create a healthy smile by combining the use of up to date techniques with a delicate hand to create aesthetic and functional results. My approach can be best described as gentle, communicative and patient-focused with the goal of providing treatment that addresses your unique concerns. Outside of the clinic, you can find me hanging out with my dog Koodo, rock climbing, or cozying up at home with a good book.
Dr. Jolanta Maj Associate Dentist
I am Dr. Maj. I’ve been a family Dentist with over 34 years experience. I completed my education in Wroclaw, Poland. I have treated thousands of smiles over my career, including generations of families and children. A patient's oral health and overall well being is my top priority.
After work you will find me spoiling my grandkids or swimming at my cottage.
Teresa Registered Dental Hygienist
My name is Teresa. I’ve worked for 33 years as a Registered Dental Hygienist - 27 of those years have been with Dr Maj’s practice. After graduating from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science, I decided to study dental hygiene at George Brown College. It has been a very rewarding job - helping my patients achieve healthy smiles. I strive to constantly learn new things that help my patients take care of and understand the importance of their oral health.
Outside of work, I enjoy going to my cottage every weekend, when possible. I am looking forward to having my son and daughter graduate from university and join my husband and me up at the cottage to enjoy quality family time in the great outdoors.
Dany Registered Dental Hygienist
Bonjour ! Originally from Quebec City, I lived in Montreal for 7 years and have been living in the beautiful GTA for 16 years. I have worked as a dental hygienist for the past 22 years and I’m really passionate about my job and all of my patients. At Dentistry at The Kingsway we’re like a family; we truly enjoy each other’s company and the clinic’s atmosphere makes it a great place to work. In addition, it is really awesome to work with professionals that are all care about our patients well being.
I’m the mother of twins and I’m a real soccer, baseball and hockey mom! I enjoy good food, the occasional glass of wine (every weekend !) and watching a great movie on a Friday night. Renovating is also one of my hobbies.

My name is Gabi. I've worked with the clinic for 30+ years as a Dental Administrator. I am delighted to be a part of the warm and welcoming team that is Dentistry at The Kingsway.
I truly care for our patients and strive to ensure that their experiences at our clinic are always positive.

Ela Dental Assistant
My name is Ela. I am a Certified Level II Dental Assistant. I came to this beautiful country from Poland in 1989. Since 2012 I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Dr. Maj. My favorite part of my job is helping our lovely patients and working with such a great team. I find working in healthcare and serving the community incredibly rewarding.
On my days off I enjoy reading, hiking, camping, and spending quality time with my family.
